3D Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM)
Zeiss has developed a line of CMMs that are capable of measuring parts quickly with high accuracy. All Zeiss sensors have scanning head technology, which allows a touch probe to make contact and take hundreds of points before backing off. This results in much more accurate measurements, and the capability of giving a true profile match to a CAD model. Zeiss also offers CMMs that are shop floor ready, vibration damped and unaffected by oil or dirt.
